Gluten Free Quiche Recipe

Our gluten free quiche recipe is a well-loved main dish food, elegant to behold, yet easy to make.

Basically, quiche is an “egg pie”, otherwise known an unsweetened custard pie.  The word “quiche” is French for the German word, “kuchen”, and both countries are credited with the history of origin for the dish.

However, it is the French who really made the quiche famous.  From the area called, Lorraine, in northeastern France, originated the classic “Quiche Lorraine” we all enjoy today, a bacon and egg custard pie sometimes seasoned with chopped onion.

The beauty of this gluten free quiche recipe is its versatility.  Make it vegetarian for meatless Monday, or fill it with smoked salmon for fish Friday.

Truly, a gluten free quiche recipe can be made with what you have hand, including leftovers.
